2026 Android CarPlay Box is more than a basic wireless adapter. It converts compatible factory wired Apple CarPlay or wired Android Auto vehicles into a wireless connection and entertainment system. With built-in Android 12 and pre-installed Netflix, YouTube, and TikTok, you can enjoy streaming content on your car display during breaks, road trips, and waiting time. Internet is required for all streaming, so please connect the device to your phone hotspot or nearby Wi-Fi and log in with your own app accounts.
Unlike regular CarPlay adapters that mainly support phone mirroring, the RC23 adds a standalone Android system, built-in video apps, wireless Apple CarPlay, and wireless Android Auto. It gives you a more complete in-car entertainment experience while still keeping everyday navigation, calls, and music convenient without repeated cable plugging.
Turn your car screen into an in-car cinema for parked use, road trip stops, family waiting time, and daily commutes. Netflix, YouTube, and TikTok are pre-installed, but video quality depends on your internet connection. A stable 4G or 5G hotspot is recommended for smoother streaming, while weak Wi-Fi may cause buffering or delay. Some vehicles may block video playback while driving.
Please check compatibility before purchase. The RC23 works only with vehicles that have factory wired Apple CarPlay or factory wired Android Auto and a touchscreen display. If you normally need to plug your phone into the car's USB port to use CarPlay or Android Auto, your vehicle may be compatible. If your phone already connects wirelessly to CarPlay or Android Auto, this product is not compatible.
Do not buy if your vehicle is wireless-only, non-touchscreen, or does not support CarPlay or Android Auto.
All streaming features require an external internet connection because the RC23 does not include a built-in SIM card. Before opening Netflix, YouTube, or TikTok, enable your phone hotspot or connect the device to nearby Wi-Fi. Screen mirroring may be available depending on your vehicle, but DRM-protected apps such as Netflix or Disney+ may show a black screen when mirrored due to platform copyright restrictions.
Setup is simple. Plug the RC23 into your car's USB port, then check whether your car system is using CarPlay or Android Auto. For wired CarPlay vehicles, the default green mode is ready for iPhone users. For wired Android Auto vehicles, switch the adapter to blue mode first, then pair through Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. After the first setup, most compatible cars reconnect automatically the next time the vehicle starts.
To switch between modes, use the reset pin tool included in the box. Insert the pin into the small reset hole and hold for 3 to 5 seconds until the LED color changes. Green LED means CarPlay mode, and blue LED means Android Auto mode. iPhone requires iOS 10 or later for CarPlay connection, and Android Auto mode requires Android 10 or later. Samsung, Xiaomi, and Huawei phones may not support Android Auto mode due to system restrictions.
Before ordering, check your car's infotainment menu for Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, then confirm whether your vehicle uses a wired USB connection. The package includes 1 wired-to-wireless adapter, 1 USB-C cable, 1 Type-C to Type-C cable, 1 reset pin tool for switching modes, and 1 user manual. HDMI output can connect to a compatible touchscreen headrest monitor for rear-seat entertainment, but HDMI use requires extra power supply and an HDMI cable is not included.
